Briefing[]

Let's confirm the mission

Destroy Rayleonard's Anti-Satellite Cannon, the Ehrenberg, before it can shoot down GA's surveillance satellite.

We expect a large-scale defensive force, but you'll need to pay special attention to the high-density Primal Armor protecting the Ehrenberg's core.

GA's surveillance satellite is approaching the Ehrenberg's firing range - there isn't much time. Get in there and get it done.

Those are your orders.

Overview[]

The mission objective is to destroy the Ehrenberg Anti-Satellite Cannon, which is heavily defended by various mobile units, high-powered energy weapon emplacements, and dense Primal Armor. The enemy units will attack from long range with missiles and Hi-Lasers, although using the terrain as cover can reduce this threat. The player can choose to disable the Ehrenberg's Primal Armor by attacking one of the generator complexes nearby. This is accomplished by destroying the small spherical constructions within these complex, although it will result in a large explosion. Although there are two complexes, only one needs to be destroyed to remove the Ehrenberg's Primal Armor.

Hard Mode Differences: The enemy forces are more numerous, and include aerial reinforcements. The Ehrenberg's Hi-Laser defenses will also fire three-round bursts rather than single shots.

Dialogue[]

Fiona Jarnefeldt:Your objective is the Ehrenberg anti-satellite cannon. Time is limited. Neutralize it before it can take down that satellite.

Fiona Jarnefeldt:Ehrenberg has ceased charging. Massive Kojima reaction detected in its subterranean core! It's going to blow! Get away from the Ehrenberg!

Fiona Jarnefeldt:Ehrenberg destroyed. The mission was a success. Good work. Please head back.
