Prominence is a Raven in Armored Core: Silent Line. His rank is C-7 in the Arena.
Information[]
Unable to swim, this pilot equips his AC with hover leg parts to avoid any and all contact with water. No other pilot is as adept in the use of hover legs as Prominence; his fear of water has had a beneficial side effect.
He and Apophis are encountered as enemies in the mission "Defend Mirage HQ." He is killed by The Raven, hired by Mirage to protect its headquarters.
He is partnered with Apophis in the Extra Arena and they hold the title of the ninth highest ranked team.

Strategy[]
In the Arena, Prominence is rather easy to defeat. Pound him with hard-hitting weapons and he will fall rather quickly. Do not let him gain distance though, since Water Hazard excels at "zoning" (area denial) tactics with its heavy use of orbit weapons. Also note that it has an unusual orbit launcher + relation missile extension setup, so it can harass you with missile bursts while occupying you with the orbit weapons. Since Water Hazard is a hover AC, it moves signifcantly faster than a biped, so it may be able to dodge your shots unknowingly.
In the mission where you face Prominence, he is partnered with Apophis (just as he is in the Arena), and this makes the fight more difficult, as you will have to face him AND Apophis at the same time. It's preferable to take care of one first before engaging the other. Should you choose to go after Prominence first, then make sure you stay away from Apophis as much as possible. He fights in very much the same way he does in the Arena, using weapons with high damage power will put him down just as easily. But if you choose to focus on Apophis, then you have to ensure that you don't take too much of Prominence's shots, especially when he is firing his orbit cannons, as they can methodically strip off a lot of AP from you without you noticing.
