Roland is a mercenary who appears in mission 06-6 of Armored Core: Verdict Day.
Biography[]
Origin: Victoria City. Male, age 34.
Though skilled as an AC pilot, underworld sources claim he was better known in times past as a proficient hit man. Indeed, it was that fame that came to compromise his efficacy as an assasin, and so he turned to mercenary work until the unwanted attention subsided. Ironically, his rare skill at this new profession saw his fame rise to greater heights than ever before.

AC Penny Black[]
Penny Black is a light greyish-black reverse-joint leg AC that is geared primarily towards CE defense and is equipped exclusively with CE weapons. It is equipped with a Au-C-B19 high attack power battle rifle on the right arm and an ARAGANE mdl. 2 rapid fire battle rifle on the left arm. It also houses an AS missile launcher on its shoulder slot and is also equipped with a rapid fire high ammo H.E.A.T machine gun on the right bay unit.

Gameplay[]
Roland is actually a rather easy opponent. His weapons are all CE type weapons so having high CE defense will help greatly in this aspect. On top of this, his AC focuses mainly on CE defense, which in turn compromises his KE & TE defense. High power KE weapons such as rifles or rapid fire TE weapons such as pulse guns or pulse machine guns will put him down quite easily.
