The SELJQ is a lightweight Normal encountered throughout Armored Core 4 and Armored Core: For Answer.
Overview[]
Contrary to the design of most Normal ACs, the SELJQ is a lightweight unit designed for close-range combat. While most other Normals focus on defense and firepower, Eqbal attempted to utilize its speed doctrine. The SELJQ is lightliy armored, although it is quite agile for its classification, allowing it to close in on its targets quickly.
The SELJQ is equipped with very high-grade weaponry for a Normal AC, comparable to that of a NEXT. It is armed with a shotgun similar in appearance to the CHARON, and a powerful physical blade called the Pile Bunker, visually similar to the MUDAN. In some missions in Armored Core 4 such as "Ego Boost" and "Retaliation," the SELJQ is equipped with a laser blade, although the appearance of the weapon is identical to the Pile Bunker.
The SELJQ is operated extensively by Bharat Squadron, Eqbal's elite special forces, where they utilise ambush tactics and surprising finesse in close combat.
