Barrel Dam has been seized. The perpetrators insist that we comply with their demand to reduce our weapons production output if we want them to relinquish control.

In an attempt to force our hand, they're threatening to release a canister of deadly poison into the water supply.

The forces holding the dam are composed of helicopters and small MTs. Neither pose a threat in limited numbers, but there are enough of each to be cause for concern.

They're executed the plan quite cleverly, but there is no way we can meet their demand. This is where you come in.

While we play for time, you must enter the dam and disable the canister before our deception is revealed. Do not fail us, Raven.

Laine Meyers:Footholds are limited. Maneuver carefully.

Laine Meyers:Gate five opened.

Laine Meyers:Gate six opened.

Laine Meyers:The water blocking the way has been released.

Laine Meyers:The canister is secure. I’ll notify Mirage.

The MWR-M/45 Back Weapon part can be unlocked during this mission. To unlock the part follow the following directions: To find this part, face the center of the dam on the side with all of the doors/gates. Fly up to the top of the dam and land on the elevated floor (still at the center). This elevated floor will begin to slope downwards as you walk towards the opposite side of the dam. Look on the bottom of the slope (still on top of the dam) for the part.

There are four doors visible when facing the dam. From left to right, the following list will describe what each path contains. 1 is furthest left, 4 is furthest right.

1. Gate 5 - Opens Gate 6.

2. Dead End

3. Gate 6 and 7 - Gate 6 opens Gate 7.

4. Gate 4 - Opens Gate 5.

For the S-rank, you'll want to move as quickly as possible. From your starting position, drop right off the dam and land at Gate 4 and hit the switch, then leave the passage, ignoring the helicopters, and fly all the way to the other end of the dam to Gate 5. That's a long way, but a lightweight AC with Fleet and Roz should be able to manage it. Hit the switch then from Gate 5, fly to Gate 6, skipping the next platform and landing on the one after that; you can tell you have the right place quickly when you lock on to a gun turret at the Gate's entrance. From here rush through the tunnels and you should make it.
