Dialogue[]

Joshua O'Brien: Hey. I guess there's little need for words...

Joshua O'Brien: (If the player goes below 10% of max AP) I won't ask you to forgive me. Hate away.

Joshua O'Brien: (If the player is defeated) I'll be right behind you. I guess you can chew me out on the other side.

Joshua O'Brien:(Upon defeat) So...this is the end. (coughs) This is for the best.

Celo:...Heh. Is that really all? Or maybe...

Celo: Everyone's exaggerated about you

Celo: You just can't beat me.

Celo: (If the player is defeated) I told them... Look how easy this was.

Celo:(Upon defeat) (Laughs)

Fiona Jarnefeldt: Enemy NEXT destruction confirmed. The mission was a success. Good work. Please head back.

Strategy[]

The enemy is equipped with a huge double quintuple gun, as well as a massive plasma cannon, both of which seem to have infinite ammunition for the fight. Also, the enemy has been known to employ Assault Armor as its health drains, so be advised. The enemy is also equipped with powerful quick boosters, and may seem to literally teleport. This combined with its ridiculous accuracy may seem impossible) and can very well grind down the player's AC very fast.

On normal difficulty, the very best way to survive is to simply match it. Constantly move, -something that simply cannot be stressed enough- and try and at least keep up with it. Extremely skilled players can even keep just barely ahead of it. Always pay attention to the enemies movement. The quick boost flare may be blinding, but if you can learn to read it, you will be able to overcome its agility. Watch the direction of the most trail, and follow it with a turn (make sure to boost when turning, or you will still miss it.) and fire. Be sure not to lose yourself!!! It may seem hopeless and easiest to just simply blast away and hope you bring it down, but that will never do. At least 80% of those shots will fall wide of their mark. So when you do catch it, fire one quick shot or burst and immediately strafe, as the computer will usually retaliate with a blast from its powerful cannon. Eventually, you can bring this monster down with enough endurance.

However, on hard mode, a second AC will appear from seemingly nowhere, and begin its attack. This one will be just as hard to destroy as the first, so look out!

Another strategy that works is using 2 Sirius laser cannons and low-cost thrusters with a powerful generator. Immediately as the fight starts, quick boost to the left to dodge the Kojima Cannon shot then fly upwards and towards it. keeping around a 30 degree angle above it seems to leave it unable to attack you, other than with the assault armor. When you run out of energy, land and strafe to the right of the 00-ARETHA while charging energy, and when it mega boosts, quick boost to the right and jump again and repeat. You should take out the ARETHA with minimal damage taken.

Trivia[]

  • Celo's involvement is the final straw that links Omer as the company that had been attempting to destroy Anatolia.
