AC Gateway

Gateway is a middleweight reverse-joint AC equipped with an exceed orbit core, energy anti missile extensions, a back mounted general magazine, hand missile and laser blade. The unit is built for enduring long and drawn out battles.

Parts[]

Gameplay[]

In-Game Information[]

He avoids being pulled into more risky close-range battles, and for the most part only engages when a comfortable buffer exists between him and his opponent. Since his AC lacks offensive strength, his fights can be long drawn out affairs.

Strategy[]

Snakewood will often boost and jump around the field while shooting off missiles with little regard for precision or accuracy. He will also frequently use his EO to help boost his offensive strength. At best, Snakewood is a nuisance with his constant moving around, but is otherwise not a real threat. His missiles can be easily avoided or countered, and his EO doesn't track very well. His description doesn't lie either, he usually attempts to maneuver away from players that try to force close-combat, so staying close to him will help greatly as it prevents him targeting you effectively.

Despite having a blade equipped, Snakewood rarely uses it at all, even when cornered to blade attacks. Take advantage of this and do not hesitate to blade him when there's a chance. Despite being a low ranker, he does have a good bit of durability, so heavier attacks are more effective against him.

The name Gateway refers to a gate or portal.

Trivia[]

Sometimes, if you try to back him up to a wall, he'll actually use his blade.
