"He must be eliminated, or this desolate land shall never be saved." - Soldier 0331
Soldier 0331 is a Migrant encountered in Armored Core V.
Information []
A migrant encountered in Armored Core V's Order Missions, Soldier 0331 is a member of the infamous Beehive group. A main enemy in Order Mission 46, he is fought alongside his partner Soldier 0312. He pilots the AC Beehive A6.
Overview []
Encountered in Order Mission 46 at the Executive Sector of Alloy Gate, Soldier 0331 is, like the rest of his fellows, a firm believer in the religious ideals of the Beehive. Firmly believing that strife and conflict are sown from powerful fighters, he strives to rid the world of these people, alongside his partner, Soldier 0312. Often found working with Soldier 0312, they actively engage opponents in a dizzying display of close-quarter and ranged combat. His AC, Beehive A6, is a lightly-armored mid-weight biped geared towards a support role, often having to provide backup for Soldier 0312 in battles due to the latter's lower durability and AP. The unit possesses low durability and AP due to its overall construction, but has very high mobility and great, overall agility as a result.
AC Beehive A6[]
In-game information: A cooperative consisting of two lightweight ACs. The assault AC uses a laser blade and the support AC uses a laser rifle to destroy individual targets. The team is best-suited to short battles, as both ACs sacrifice durability in favor of maneuverability.
Beehive A6 is a bright yellow craft adorned in the 'Soldier'-class Beehive emblem. A lightweight medium bipedal with little overall armor, A6 relies instead on its partner to directly assault foes and funnel them towards it while it remains afar. Features below average AP and durability but has high maneuverability and agility as a result, A6 is, while not as agile as A*, fast enough to keep up with enemy units and swiftly strike them down.
It comes equipped with a low-budget second-gen laser rifle, a CERCIS battle rifle, and a Valdosta rifle in its left hangar bay. In addition to this, his AC's laser rifle will deal bonus damage to any enemy it hits, thanks to the UEA-4 Izanami energy amplifier.
Strategy []
In general, the strategy against Beehive A8 will also work well with A6. Keep A8 at a distance, safe enough to be out of range of its laser blades (especially the ULTICA), but also make sure to beat A6 back whenever he gets into firing range, as his enhanced laser rifle will deal nasty damage if you lack suitable TE defenses, and his CERCIS can also touch out to a fairly reasonable distance as well.
If the player can easily funnel both AC's into a single file, then they are doomed, as they will both remain grounded when they are fairly close together, and if A6 goes down first, A8 will not stand a chance in hell. The same goes for A6 as well. If the player destroyed A8 first, A6 almost lowers the ferocity of its attacks, and will prefer to back away more often, as there is no further direct combat that could distract the player from A6's annoying attacks.
Trivia []
- Soldier 0312 and 0331 are the first 'Soldier'-class Beehive members to be encountered in the Order Missions.
