Strix is a mercenary who appears in mission 4-2 of Armored Core: Verdict Day.

Origin: Opal Cave. Female, age 37. Stout-hearted, brash, and completely lacking in femininity, she favored close-quarters combat on the frontlines. Not one for finesses, she relied on audacity and momentum to carry her through battles---a trait which cost her multiple ACs over the course of her career, and explains how she was able to return alive so often nonetheless.

AC Bouveault | Poobo[]
AC Bouveault is middleweight, bipedal unit with a TE core, CE arms, and KE head. It is geared primarily towards close-range combat due to its weapon configuration. Its main weapons are an ARAGANE mdl. 2 battle rifle along with a extreme rapid fire Gatling gun. On its bay units, it equips a handgun and a lightweight Gatling gun. Above all however, Bouveault is best known for attempting to rushing in on opponents to deliver crippling boost charge attacks. While the method seems crude and downright reckless, Bouveault can still deal serious damage to unwary pilots and is relentless in close combat.
In Japanese, her AC is said as Poobo (プーボー Pūbō).

Gameplay[]
Bouveault will come directly at you while shooting her weapons and at the same time, she will attempt to ram you down with deadly boost charge attacks. While it may seem reckless, her AC is tuned for such combat and not even fully repaired ACs are capable of withstanding a full barrage of her charge attacks.
Once the battle starts, try to strafe out of her line of fire, standing directly in front of her would more often than not leave you open to getting rammed by her boost charges. Strafe away from her and at the same time, rain down hell on her with your weapons. Her AC focuses primarily on KE & TE defense, but low CE defense. Use Heat machine guns or battle rifles tuned for high attack power and mow her down if she attempts to get close and strafe away from her if you see her trying to boost charge you.

- Strix shares the same name as Wong Shaow Lung's NEXT Strix Quadruped. Her emblem also shares the same theme of an owl. Despite this, there are few to no similarities between the two.
