Terminal Armor is a defensive technology in ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON.
"An emergency variant of Pulse Armor that trails the AC, activating when the AC has reached critical AP damage."
Expansion[]
Players have access to Terminal Armor as an Expansion part, unlocked from OS Tuning. Unlike other Expansion parts, it automatically activates when a player's AC takes damage that would deplete its AP to 0, whereby it activates a strengthened Pulse Armor that can absorb 20,000 damage and lasts for 5 seconds. Terminal Armor can only be used once per mission, though it can be resupplied by a Supply Sherpa.

Enemies[]
Some enemy Armored Cores are equipped with Terminal Armor, with the exact same characteristics as the player version.
Vulnerabilities[]
Certain weapons can possess the "P.A. Interference" stat, which increases the damage said weapons deal against Pulse barriers. Ranged Pulse weapons, namely the HI-16: GU-Q1, HI-18: GU-A2, and the KRANICH/60Z have the highest P.A. Interference stats and are thus most effective against Terminal Armor. However, Coral weapons and most melee weapons also have P.A. Interference as well, though not to the same degree as Pulse guns do.
As Terminal Armor has a much shorter duration than Pulse Armor and Pulse Protection, it is generally advised to simply wait out the Terminal Armor rather than trying to break it.
