The Duke

The Duke, also known as Duke Scutum in Japanese (ヂユーク・スキユータム), is a Raven in Armored Core: Nexus. He is ranked 21st in the Arena.

Information[]

Quad leg AC design well-suited for close-in combat. Pilot alternates between equipped weapons depending on the unit's energy reserve status.

Upon attacking a Mirage base, he is confronted by The Raven and killed.

AC Blood Pledge[]

Blood Pledge is a quad-legged AC equipped with inside ECM makers, a back-mounted chain gun, a back radar, a laser rifle, a laser blade and energy-based anti-missile extensions. The unit is also equipped with a solid-shell EO core.

Strategy[]

He is another easy opponent, his laser rifle being used in conjunction with his quad legs depletes his energy stores rapidly, at which point he will resort to using his chain gun, but since he lacks OP-INTENSIFY, he can't fire it while flying, so this is not even the least bit threatening. He also hardly uses his blade or EO core, so he should be very easy to take down. He does tend to deploy ECM makers at times, but this should pose little problem if you possess good ECM countering performance.
