Theodoric Patten is a mercenary who appears in mission 08-5 of Armored Core: Verdict Day.
Biography[]
Origin: Old Duman. Male, age 35.
While he earned little personal glory, his career included some of the most bloody battles in recent history. The fact that he survived so many and continued to fight speaks of a stoic professionalism despite the popular view of mercenaries as disposable pawns.

AC Monroe E[]
Monroe E is a middleweight bipedal AC that primarily focuses on high mobility and KE resistance but in turn compromises CE & TE defense. Its weapons include a KE rifle on the left arm, a rapid fire plasma gun on the right arm, a powerful H.E.A.T pile bunker on its left bay unit and a high stun lock handgun on its right bay unit. Just like Shamrock+2, it also comes equipped with flash rockets, although this one is the TOMOSHIBI mdl.1 which has a slower muzzle velocity, but is nonetheless still a potent weapon.

Monroe E shows up after you have destroyed Shamrock+2. By this time, you may have already sustained some damage from the fight beforehand which may leave you at a significant disadvantage. But this doesn't mean the fight is impossible.
In contrast to Shamrock+2, Monroe E is midweight bipedal focused more on mobility and quick strike tactics than durability. Another thing is that Monroe E is primarily focused on KE unlike Shamrock+2 whose focus lies in CE & TE defense. Thus, to bring him down, you will require high power CE or TE weapons to take him out. Preferably Heat machine guns as his CE defense is the lowest among his resistance to the 3 damage types.
Monroe E's main weapons are his plasma gun and rifle, both of which have quick fire rate and are geared towards mid-to-close range combat. Just like Shamrock+2, Monroe E also uses flash rockets, albeit it uses the lower end TOMOSHIBI mdl.1 instead of the mdl.2 that Shamrock+2 has. Still, beware of his flash rockets as they too can disable lock-on and leave you vulnerable for a period of time. Using an AC with high KE and TE defense will help as Monroe E's main weapons are KE & TE based.
