In-Game Biography

The infamous rogue Original from BFF who favors ECM and a sniper rifle. Despite his constant boasting, he'll stoop as low as he has to in order to win.

Information

Subsequent to the downfall of BFF, Unseel allied himself with the Rayleonard group, joining Berlioz's elite squad of Originals. Together with Berlioz, Zanni and P. Dam, they successfully defeat both Leonhardt and Mido Auriel before being attacked by Anatolia's Mercenary. Along with the rest of his unit, Unseel is defeated by the Mercenary.

• Unseel and his AC both reference European fairy folklore.
  • "Unseel" comes from what is probably the best-known division in fairy taxonomy: the Seelie Court and Unseelie Court from Scottish folklore, generally identified as "nice" and "mean" fairies respectively. (To wit: an Unseelie fae will hurt you on its own initiative, while a Seelie fae will only do so if you break one of its rules... one of its many, many rules, most thoroughly nonsensical to a human perspective, and which you are unlikely to be told about in advance.)
  • A redcap is a particular type of murderous fae or goblin, who color their eponymous headgear by soaking it in the blood of their murder victims. (For obvious reasons, Redcaps are classified as Unseelie by any tradition or depiction that features both concepts.)
