Patch Notes[]
- Regulation 1.03.1: increased AP/Attitude Stability/Jump Distance
- Patch 1.06: increased Weight
- Patch 1.07: decreased AP / Anti-Kinetic Defense / Anti-Energy Defense / Anti-Explosive Defense
Acquisition[]
The VE-42A can be purchased from the Parts Shop for 504,000 COAM after completing the "Destroy the Ice Worm" mission.
Notes[]
- The VE-42A has some of the best defensive stats of any biped in the game and considerable load limit. However this also comes with very high weight and EN load. In addition, as a hover unit, it is incapable of walking, instead floating on a slight cushion of air even when boost is off. This has no gameplay implications apart from the atrocious jump height both vertically and horizontally.

Trivia[]
- Unlike other Leg parts in the game, the VE-42A does not have a walking animation for standard movement, and instead performs the same hover movement as boosting does but slower.
- The VE-42A is similar to that of the Dom from Gundam.
