The VE-42B can be bought from the Parts Shop for 490,000 COAM after completing the Chapter 5 mission "Escape."

Characteristics[]
The VE-42B is an incredibly strange leg set, even among tanks. It boasts mediocre defensive stats, particularly in attitude stability, for being such a large target. In addition, it is slow on the ground and in the air. However, the VE-42B has two exceptional quirks which allow for a very unique playstyle.
- It boasts one of the highest assault boost thrusts in the game, meaning that ACs can reach speeds of almost 500 kph even while loaded with heavy weaponry.
- While boosting in any direction, the AC will descend much slower than usual. This allows time for EN recovery to kick in if EN is depleted, and is thus especially useful with coral generators.
