- The VE-44B can be bought from the Parts Shop for 306,000 COAM after completing the "Escape" mission for the first time.

- This head has the highest Scan Distance and Scan Duration stats of any Head in the game. It also has the highest System Recovery stat. It also has the third best scan cooldown (4.8 seconds; the HD-011 MELANDER has the 2nd best cooldown at 4.2 seconds).
- When viewed in the hanger, the head part's "ears" fold down to make room for the compartments binding the AC's torso.
- Despite being made to accommodate a proposal from V.VII Swinburne, it is actually only used by V.VIII Pater.
- Due to this head's peculiar hammerhead-esque shape and high scanning range, it could possibly be a callback to the EHD-WACS from Armored Core 2 and Another Age.
