The VE-4A is an Arquebus ADD heavyweight bipedal Armored Core model that first appears in ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON.

The VE-4A is a heavy bipedal AC designed by the Arquebus ADD to combat the PCA's forces on Rubicon 3. Unlike other bipeds, it is unique for employing hovering in its movement, rather than its legs touching the ground like most other ACs.
The craft has excellent armor and protective qualities and also outstanding load-bearing capabilities as its arms and legs can carry a large amount of weight, allowing to carry both the powerful weapons developed by the ADD, along with generators developed by them to feed the high energy requirements that normally comes with these weapons.
Its known variant is the VE-4B.
The VE-4A is exclusively used by Vespers' deputy commander V.II Snail.
