Vernhunt is a Raven in Armored Core: Nexus. He is ranked 18th in the Arena.
Information[]
A middleweight AC designed to persevere in extended combat situations. The unit's mobility enables the pilot to strike and disengage rapidly.
Contracted to investigate the filtration plant along with Trasher, the two end up fighting The Raven on the rooftops of the plant. It remains open-ended whether Vernhunt is killed by The Raven or if he witnesses Trasher being destroyed before retreating.

Great Den (known as Great Dane in Japanese, グレートデン gurettoden) is a midweight bipedal AC equipped with an overboost core, vertical missile relay missile extensions, a small missile launcher, a back radar, a dual pulse rifle, a machine gun and an energy shield as a left arm hangar unit.

Strategy[]
Vernhunt isn't as hard as you expect, he's actually rather easy to crack. His main strategy is to fire volleys of missiles while using overboost to attempt circle-strafing you. However, this tactic has a tendency of causing him to overheat while charging up his overboost, so you can take advantage of this opportunity to keep him grounded and rip him apart. Dual machine guns work best (preferably the WH79M2 ones) as they have insane heat stress and rapid fire rate. His missiles can also avoided quite easily and he's not very good at using his pulse rifle either, so it should be quite easy to beat him.

- Despite having the SYLPH machine gun on the left arm, Vernhunt never uses it. In fact, he will simply drop it to swap to his energy shield after sustaining some damage.
