Welkin

Welkin is an unmanned jet that appears a few times throughout the original Armored Core game as enemies.

Overview

Welkin

The Welkin is an unmanned fighter jet, around half the size of an AC and is capable of flying at high altitudes. Its only weapon is a machine gun mounted beneath the nose of the jet. In appearance it looks similiar to real world fighter jets.

The Welkin appears only in two missions as enemies and appears to be used by Chrome. They appear in the missions:

• Guard Freight Train
• Repulse Enemy Attack

• It might be named after the British World War 2 Westland Welkin high altitude fighter aircraft.
