Yellow Boat is a Raven in Armored Core 3. She is ranked D-10 in the Arena.
Biography[]
Yellow Boat was one of the many Ravens contracted by Union to help destroy the generators of the Crest's Data Storage Facility. The strike included her, Comeback, Flying Fix, Royal Mist, Twinhead-W, Valkyrie and The Raven. Once they reached the facility, the Ravens split up to clear out the different sectors of the facility in search of the generators. Yellow Boat was able to clear out Sectors N33 and S-42 before withdrawing when her AC started taking heavy damage.

AC Apathy[]
AC Apathy
Apathy is a middleweight AC equipped with an overboost core, anti missile extensions, a back mounted radar, back mounted laser cannon, bazooka, and MOONLIGHT laser blade. Its mainstay weapons are its bazooka and laser cannon. This AC is overweight and slow as a result. Due to the lack of OP-INTENSIFY enhancements, this AC is a small threat to a fairly maneuverable AC.

Gameplay[]
Yellow Boat appears offscreen during the mission Assault Crest Facility. Her AC, Apathy, takes on a heavy beating after clearing out Sectors N-33 and S40. It is here when she withdraws to safety.
Information[]
An optimist, her combat strategy incorporates very little in the way of proven tactics and she relies solely on luck to best the competition. Her AC is designed for looks and the random parts layout makes it hard to anticipate her moves.
Strategy[]
Yellow Boat is a case study in a mediocre pilot relying on a careless mix of expensive parts to carry her game. Apathy is simply a badly build AC. First of all, Yellow Boat is an overweight AC, as evidenced by her POV when in match. This means that it is much less powerful than it seems, and is slow to move, and thus vulnerable to punishment. Secondly, despite having a laser cannon equipped, Yellow Boat does not have OP-INTENSIFY, meaning she has to kneel in order to use it, making her even more vulnerable. In addition, Yellow Boat is so poorly skilled as a Raven, she will leave the laser cannon active for long periods of time while moving, giving you some more opportunity to attack her with virtually no risk of retaliation on her part. Coupled with the fact that her bazooka can be easily avoided just by staying on the move, Yellow Boat is a laughable opponent. Though her MOONLIGHT is powerful, it requires her to be at close range to be useful, meaning her blade is useless if the player keeps some distance.
For all intents and purposes, Yellow Boat is no threat, at best a nuisance to those too slow to dodge her bazooka shots. Otherwise, she makes for good target practice when testing builds, and perhaps some projectile avoidances practice as well.

Etymology[]
The name Apathy refers to the state of mind, which is most commonly defined as a lack of feeling, emotion, interest, or concern. The name is also suggestive of the lack of energy of Yellow Boat's AC, hampered by being overweight.
