Zaki (ザキ) is a Raven that appears in the Armored Core: Master of Arena Extra Arena. He is a member of the Champions Arena.

AC Gila[]
AC Gila
Gila (ギーラ Gīra) is a lightweight two-legged AC equipped with a dual missile launcher double back weapon, hand gun and the MOONLIGHT laser blade. Due to the Human Plus enhancements of the pilot the unit can launch into battle overweight and fire blade waves.
Strategy[]
Zaki is essentially Freddy 2.0, with Human PLUS abilities. It will rush toward you while letting loose with salvos of missiles before switching to its handgun when at close enough a distance. At the same time, Zaki has the tendency to go airborne, often attempting to hover close enough to you to land a blade hit. It usually does this while using its handgun to stun you before moving in to swing its deadly Moonlight. For that reason, blade combat is not recommended.
Defeating Zaki would not be an easy task, as it is equipped with weapons for respective ranges, and is able to adapt accordingly. Not to mention, despite it being a lightweight AC, it is durable enough to stand up to meager attacks. Despite it being overweight, it is a nonissue thanks to Human PLUS. With these traits in mind, Zaki will become an overwhelming presence in battle if you don't know what you're doing. For this reason, it is not recommended to draw out the fight too long as Zaki is good at turning the tide of the battle at any moment, so ending the fight as quickly as possible would be paramount to securing a victory.
To this end, using weapons with high DPS would be key, and bulking up shell defense isn't a bad idea either, as Zaki's primary weapons are shell-based, and his overall DPS is somewhat lacking despite his choice of weapons. Next, having good defensive stability would be important as well as Zaki's handgun is capable of dishing out continuous stun and damage, negating this would significantly lower his threat level. Last but not least, Zaki's AC is tuned for shell defense, but has lower energy defense. The WG-MG500/E is a good option, as it has fast projectile speed, fire rate, and DPS, allowing you to easily pick off Zaki from a distance, though note that the energy machine gun consumes energy when used so don't shoot blindly.
Overall, Zaki will pose a challenge despite not utilizing the full-range of his Human PLUS abilities. Taking him lightly would be a mistake.
